Fancy Nansea - Beachfront!

This location is top notch. This front row beach house is in a quiet and well maintained neighborhood overlooking a pristine, breezy beach and dune view. This is a hidden gem area of Galveston we always return to its great for families, dogs and fishing. The nearest restaurant at West End marina is also a repeat for us. The home is well equipped, clean and comfortable. It is not perfect in every way because it is a rental and you can tell that people treat it as such, but the hosts are responsive and I did not experience some of the major issues noted in prior reviews. If you need all the bunks for your group, please note that there are not currently light blocking curtains in the bunk bed room but all other rooms have them. We did not need all the beds so we remedied this by hanging blankets over the bottom bunks- which was fun for a kid.

Wonderful beachside property! We loved the spacious patio and balconies on the 2nd and 3rd levels—perfect for watching the sunrise and sunset. Kitchen was very well stocked with a toaster, air fryer, and many kitchen and pantry essentials for cooking. Host was incredibly responsive and checked on us regularly. I couldn’t have asked for more. This was maybe a 4-5 minute walk across the sea dune bridge straight to the beach. Seriously—book this immediately before it’s gone.

Nice location good layout. House was very clean, although it had a lot of deferred maintenance items (cannot set A/C lower than 70 or else coil would freeze, old carpet on stairs, needs full interior repaint, dishwasher broken). Despite those shortcomings I would stay again!

Great location!

We love Pointe West, the easy beach access and views! Great house! Positive: We loved the neighborhood, location, and views. Negative: The code given didn't let us in. We had to call and get in another way. It took over an hour to get into the property. No beach towels provided. Not enough bath towels. Dishwasher didn't work at first, one of our guests repaired it.
