Downtown Delight Unit 1

Positive: I love how close it was to the beach and anything really! Customer service was always very helpful & fast when I had questions about something Sure will come back! Negative: The only little distraction I didn’t was the upstairs neighbors were stomping mostly late at night from 11-1 & once they woke up. And the fact we had to take our own trash away when there’s a 95 cleaning fee, don’t make sense to me. That’s really the main 2 concerns I had during my visit.

It was a large enough space to have a good visit. Positive: The location was walking distance from the strand. The house colors and decor are cute. Any questions I had were quickly answered. It was a good space and we enjoyed our visit. The outside doors shut and locked easily. All appliances worked. There were extras like a crockpot. Negative: The cabinets in the bathroom had gunk on them, I had to go through and clean several things when I got there. There were fresh spills on the bed frame in my room, that I’m not sure how they missed when they changed the sheets. There were also spills on the dresser and nightstand that were dried. As well as nasty stuff on the inside of the trash can lid. There was only one parking permit, though they assured me we wouldn’t get towed and it didn’t cause any parking issues. There wasn’t any laundry detergent and there weren’t enough regular bowls or utensils for 8 people. Also the hinges on the bathroom door aren’t attached so the door had to be lifted each time to shut it. The top covers and shams had stains on them.

Overall, a very comfortable and well-located stay with a great host. Positive: The location is excellent, close to downtown and a great restaurant area. The kitchen and bathrooms are well equipped, everything was very clean, and the host was very attentive to our needs. Negative: It’s understandable given the wooden structure of the house, but noise from the upstairs neighbors can be quite noticeable.
