Wave 'N Sea

We enjoyed our stay. Lots of options for sleeping. I almost wished we had 4 more people with us. The outside was a bit disappointing. No wood for the fire pit ( was listed as something to bring but we had come from out of State for one night. It is not practical to expect guests to bring or be able to go somewhere and find that. It was nice having a washer and dryer.Our teenager loved the lower level. The outside could use a little TLC, the vegetation was all dead, very old rusty grill should be replaced. We could have used more soap in the shared bath room upstairs, along with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. There wasn’t enough for three people. Chairs on the upper deck to see the ocean would have been very nice to have. Beach towels were not provided. I think this was maybe only the first or second time this was rented. Some of these issues can easily be addressed. I am just mentioning them because if no- one ever tells you how will you know. Host was very attentive and I really appreciated the texts with instructions and detailed information. The property is located in a great spot - close to the beach, restaurants, & quiet neighborhood. The only issues I'd mention for other people who are looking to book this property would be that the property did not seem as nice as the pictures portrayed it to be. Couches and beds need updated. Lots of wear and tear on the couches and the mattresses were lacking in comfort. The main house area (upstairs) was nice and had everything needed to cook. The setup is odd, but it worked ok for one night. There are three bedrooms upstairs, but only two have direct access to the bathroom in the middle of the night, if needed. It was stormy the night that we stayed and very humid in the house. To the point that I woke up "dewy". The game room & additional beds were on ground level and completely separate from the rest of the house. That being said, the kids loved it and loved the separation!Overall, great stopping point for us and great for anyone who isn't too picky.
