Galveston Beach Lodge II

The house was OK. Beds were clean and comfy, there were clean towels. But NO handwash soap, NO bar soap for bathing as they had described. Cheap no name dishwashing liquid that wouldn’t foam or clean the dishes. One small hotel size shampoo and body wash in each bathroom for single person use (total of 4) for a house that’s supposed to sleep 20 people. When we asked about toiletries, we were told to check this cabinet or that drawer, but there was nothing. And the floors had not been vacuumed or mopped. They were dirty. Whoever is doing their cleaning does only the bare minimum to make the house look presentable superficially.

Nice place. We will try to rent again

The house was very nice and clean it was 12 of us and it was enough space for everyone to have their own bed. The only thing I didn’t like was when we sat in the backyard it was daylight outside at 10am and the neighbor was bothering us about our talking & laughing it was on a Saturday so not sure what her issue was. Other than that it was a nice 1 night stay

I will see if I can get in the lock box if not, I will leave the key inside the wonderful day the pool guys on premises
