Galveston Beach Lodge

The houses were as described and the pool was clean. The cleaning service they use could be better but the sheets smelled clean and there was plenty of towels. Make sure you pack your own soap, shampoo, and conditioner. But they did provide enough dish soap for a few days. Other than that it was a pleasant stay the neighborhood is good. Not alot of traffic.

Everything about this house and location was absolutely awesome. If it happens to be available for your stay, BOOK IT!

This house is located in an area within easy reach of many Galveston attractions. The house is well appointed with all kitchen items you might need and was very clean. The host was easy to communicate with. There are several beds and two bathrooms. You can only enter the bathrooms through a bedroom. While we were there it was cold so could not use the pool which was only half full. The neighborhood has several empty houses which did concern us. The bed in the master bedroom has a broken frame which made the mattress tilt 3-4” in one corner making sleeping difficult so we moved to a different room. The frame should be repaired.

Our stay in Galveston was pretty good for a large group. Communication with the host was easy, and so was access to the property. The house was clean, spacious, and had most amenities. Some feedback- there are limited cooking supplies and soap/ body products in the kitchen and bathroom, respectively. There is also no separate bathroom in the main house, which made it a little difficult when every bathroom was connected to a bedroom. Overall, nice location and very close to the beach, and a great mini golf spot! Didn't get to enjoy the pool, but the outdoor area was very peaceful.
