Surf's Up

The house is beautifully decorated and they've done a wonderful job of using the most of the space there without making it feel cramped. There was plenty of room for our group of 13 people including 8 kids 6 and under! The host had excellent communication, and when we had one issue with signing into the FireTV, they sent someone out to fix the problem. The plumbing does need work (neither of the bathroom sinks drain well) and one of the bedroom doors did not latch, but the host is very responsive, and the home really is beautiful and a super easy walk to the beach! Even with all of our littles, it was very easy to walk a few blocks to the Whelk Street or Oyster Street Beach Access and we had a blast over our 3 day stay.One thing - pay attention when the host mentions bringing your mosquito spray! Underneath the house by the shower, mosquitoes were just everywhere. Even with our spray we got a ton of bites. I would recommend to the host that they plant mosquito-repelling plants in that area around the parking pad. It was pretty bad.Another recommendation I'd have is a curtain or blinds over the front door because the entire door is glass and at night it can make you feel rather exposed.I would definitely recommend this place for families. My little kids loved it and again there was plenty of space for our large group! Communication with the host is always a huge deal, and they were super responsive. We hope to be back!

This was a very nice property and the layout was perfect. We had enough room, comfortably, for our whole family. It was close to the beach and anything else we might need. Great time, cozy and we made it "our home" for a couple days!!
